The Mission is called “Facing Mercy” – Face it, God delights in showing mercy, and “mercy triumphs over judgment.” (James 2:13) Over three nights, Fr. Ryan will use the Scriptures and our Tradition to explain that God’s mission is one of reconciliation, recalibration, and abundance of life through his son, Jesus. The first night is an overview of the story of creation, sin, and God’s mission of salvation. On the second night we will look inward, examining and taking more seriously our own personal story, woundedness, and status as beloved sons or daughters of a good Father. And on night three we will look outward, recognizing that evangelization and witness are essential responses to healing and life found in Christ.
