“Do this in memory of Me.”
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and abides in me, and I in him.”
(John 6:51, 54, 56)
The origins of the Eucharist are found in the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his Apostles. “In order to leave them a pledge of this love, in order never to depart from his own and to make them sharers in his Passover, he instituted the Eucharist as the memorial of his death and Resurrection and commanded his apostles to celebrate it until his return; ‘thereby he constituted them priests of the New Testament’” (CCC, no. 1337, citing Council of Trent: DS 1740).
Celebrated at Daily Mass
Each time we participate in the Mass, we are offered a gift beyond measure. Christ is present in the Eucharist. When we are consciously present as well, we allow God to pattern our lives more fully on Our Lord’s life and love.
Join us at Mass as we gather around the table of our Lord.
Home Visit
Parishioners are available to visit the homebound and share the Eucharist.
