Becoming Catholic through the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
- Are you curious about the Catholic faith?
- Have you been baptized in another Christian faith and are interested in becoming a Catholic?
- Were you baptized a Catholic and would like to receive Eucharist and Confirmation?
- Do you know someone who might be interested in becoming a Catholic?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, a warm welcome to you! The process to explore the Catholic faith is called the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). We gather on Sunday mornings from Labor Day through Easter. The process is twofold. The first being an opportunity to uncover God’s loving presence in one’s personal life and the second, a means to help a person embrace the rich treasury of the Catholic faith.
Our Mission
We strive to help you begin to recognize just how much God loves you, and guide you into the relationship that He so desires.
Why OCIA
Complete your Sacraments of Initiation as a Catholic, Baptism, First Eucharist, Confirmation.
What to Expect?
The Lord is calling you to grow closer. This is a Journey, through formation, into greater awareness of the loving embrace of Our Lord.
Grow Together in Christ
OCIA is not a classroom-but a journey, a formation of spirit and lives. Together the catechist, the sponsors, and those moving towards full communion with the Catholic church will explore the depth and fullness of the Catholic faith toward greater understanding of the beauty of our Church, the gift from Christ.

Join us at one of our scheduled “Come and See” events and speak to “New” Catholics who just completed their formation. We invite you to unite with an amazing community of active believers that come together at the Lord’s Table in thanksgiving.
