Welcome Fr. Tom!

It is July which heralds the assignment of a new Parochial Vicar for us here at St. Raphael. Please pray for Fr. Tom as he joins our parish family. Father Tom Logue grew up at St. Isaac Jogues Parish in Hinsdale where he began his education in our Catholic Faith first thinking of priesthood during daily mass with his dad at the age of 5. After attending the parochial school there and towards the end of his time in high school at Fenwick in Oak Park, Father Tom had a transformative experience of the love and mercy of the Lord Jesus and heard Him ask Father Tom to give us life over to him in the priesthood. During his time at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, after growing ever-deeper in his conviction of the realty of Jesus Resurrection from the dead and His deep goodness, Father Tom entered St. John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul, MN. After his graduation he spent a few years working with high school students as a youth minister in Joliet and Elmhurst before entering Mudelein seminary where he completed his priestly formation before his ordination of May 21st, 2022.
