Martin (Marty) John Mazurek

Martin John Mazurek, 74, unexpectedly passed away on March 6, 2024, while sharing God’s love with others at a local food pantry. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1949 to John & Sophie Mazurek and grew up in Mundelein, Illinois. He attended Carmel High School where he felt “this school made him the man he was today.” He went on to study Mathematics at Northern Illinois University. After graduation, he worked at Sears Roebuck & Co. and Merck where he retired.

Bob Montalbano

Bob Montalbano passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on February 26, 2024.  Bob suffered a seven year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare neurological disease.  Bob was a Chicago native and in recent years resided in Goodyear, Arizona.  Beloved Husband of Patricia Ann, nee Pinzine for 56 years; Cherished Father of Denise Judith (Sean) Hayes; Devoted Papa of Emily Charlotte Hayes; Loving Brother of the late Sal (Kathy), Charles (Josephine), Gloria, and Marion Montalbano; Dear Son of the late Charles and Mary (Sucato) Montalbano.  Sir Knight Bob was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.  Bob was an active volunteer with St. Vincent dePaul and Kare Bears.  He was loved dearly by his family and friends.

Margaret K. “Peggy” Nilles

After a vibrant and joyous life, Margaret (Peggy) Nilles died on Thursday, February 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family who played and sang her favorite songs to her as she peacefully passed on to her heavenly future.

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL from 3pm – 8pm.

Laurence Jefferson Curtin

Laurence Jefferson Curtin, “Larry”, age 50, a longtime resident of Naperville, IL, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on February 20, 2024. He was born on April 9, 1973 in Houston, TX.

Larry is survived by his loving parents, Peter and Carolyn Curtin of Naperville, IL; his dear sisters, Janet (Richard) Blaney of Naperville, IL and Jennifer (Robert, Jr.) Curtin-Timm; his cherished nieces and nephew that he loved so much, Olivia and Charlotte Blaney, Abigail, Tyler and Taylor Timm.

Charles A. Kerbs

Charles A. Kerbs, “Charlie” “Chas”, age 68, a resident of Naperville since 1989, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 18, 1955 in Chicago.

Joseph J. Kane

Joseph J. Kane, age 94, U.S. Air Force veteran 1948-1949, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1957, passed to his eternal reward on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at his home. He was born on December 19, 1929 to Mary Rita Kane (nee Carroll) and Joseph Patrick Kane in Chicago, IL. He was married to Dolores Stonehocker on August 28, 1954 and she preceded him in death on October 22, 2008.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, 3:00-7:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville.

Alexander Joseph Delulio

Alexander Joseph Delulio, age 75 of North Aurora, Illinois passed away January 16, 2024. He is survived by his children; Andrea McKeague, Alex J. Delulio II and Dana (Steve) Eickenberg, and former wife; Renate Delulio. He was the fun loving grandfather to Kayla, Maya & Sean McKeague, Alex R., Erich, Nicholas & Kailey Delulio and Heidi & Tommy Eickenberg, and loving sibling to Joseph (Marilyn) Delulio and Mary Jo (Guy) LeClaire.

A visitation for Alexander will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 3 until 8 p.m. at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL.

Conor McHugh

Conor E. McHugh, age 64, a resident of Naperville, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He was born January 5, 1959 in Chicago.

Sharon Doweidt

Sharon Lee Doweidt, age 76, of Naperville, IL, at rest November 18th, 2023. She was born on April 11th 1947. Beloved daughter of the late Gloria (Bianco) and George Hansen, loving mother to Blake (Alyssa), Todd (Donna), Stacey (Mario), Brad (Leah), and adored Nana of Michael, Rachael, Bailey, Madi, Skylar and Korbin.

Patricia Nicarico (nee Panchak), age 80, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world peacefully at home in Bluffton, SC, surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
